The restaurant is split into two levels, so the green-carpeted mezzanine floor, which can accommodate up to 20 diners, is for those seeking privacy. The ground level, minus the carpet, is where you will catch a mixed crowd: business executives as well as families. Famous for its Chicken Bharta, this hardy perennial of CP’s dining-out scene (it’s over 40 years old) has recently undergone a facelift, but its menu remains caught in a time warp and its service is nothing to write home about. As regulars would tell you, the restaurant serves “banquet kind of food”.
