Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group on Friday signed an MoU with the West Bengal government for setting up an IT institute in West Bengal in the memory of Reliance group founder Dhirubhai Ambani.

After signing the MoU, chairman of Reliance-ADAG Anil Ambani told reporters that the institute named Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communications Technology (DA-IICT) would come up within 18 months time and the outlay earmarked for this is Rs 100 crore, which would be increased progressively in future.
The project would be executed by Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial Trust and would be the second after Gandhinagar in Gujarat which started functioning three years back.
