The Anjana Bhargava label reflects silhouettes where each collection has an inspiration, with accessories on garments as her hallmark. Her designs resurrect patterns and skills of ancient arts into the rhythm of modern life, keeping her accent always on comfort, wearability and affordability.
Anjana was nominated for the Lycra MTV Style Awards 2003 for 'Breakthrough Designer of the Year' by a reputed panel of judges which included Wendell Rodricks, Shobha De, Karan Johar, Nafisa Ali and Pooja Bhatt.
Her this year's collection is inspired by life.
Life in its varied moods, Dark and Depressing, Loving and Caring, Gentle and Emotional, A spectrum that unfolds in fascination.
The collection will comprise of structured and unstructured garments to permeate the mood that life can be tough, disciplined, yet be interspersed with softer emotions and passionate moments.
The USP of the collection is that it is an all season wear that transcends time and seasons. Thus, the choice of fabrics for the collection is terywool blends interspersed with chiffons, laces and velvet trims. It comprises of asymmetrical garments that can be worn as separates to create, add value and complement any outfit.
