Police have already identified a cycle shop in the area where the two mens’ cycles were purchased a day before the blasts. The owner reportedly told the police that the customers paid in cash and insisted on getting baskets attached to the handlebars.

Pune police have not yet released the sketches of two suspects, which were drawn based on information given by the first cycle shop owner. They suspect that another group, including a woman, might have gone to the second shop.

The two men, who purchased two cycles, spoke in Gujarati as well as Hindi. ATS teams from Gujarat and Karnataka have arrived in Pune to check whether their respective states had any connection with the blasts.

Union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde is expected to arrive in Pune on Saturday to visit blast sites.
