The doctors flew in on a chartered plane. The plane was reportedly sent to take Baba to Delhi for treatment but the doctors and industrialist Rajeev Gupta, who arrived with them, flew back in the evening without Baba. Singh's daughter Veena Singh and her husband too landed here and headed to the ashram. One Dr Sahi, a cardiologist, accompanied them.

Though ashramites at Ganga Ghat were not ready to share information on the Baba's health, sources in the administration confirmed that they had received information that Mauni Baba was not feeling well and a team of doctors was arriving here in a special aircraft to examine him and decide course of action.(Gupta said “Baba is better now,” reports UNI.)
