When the worker resisted, the officer attempted to molest her. “He first held the hand of the lady and then attempted to molest her,” the official said. A GRP constable who came to the rescue of the worker was also assaulted.

The GRP detained the officer and later handed him over to military police of a nearby transit camp. Army officials were silent over the incident.
