A local court issued an arrest warrant against seven policemen after they were found involved in a conspiracy of assaulting a builder and killing his security guard.

"The arrest warrant against the seven police persons were issued by the competent court and it has asked the police to
arrest them," Senior Superintendent of police Akhil Kumar told reporters on Thursday

According to the SSP, on November 29, 2008, builder Satish Yadav along with his two private security guards,
Dharmender and Hari Om, were assaulted by some identified persons when they were coming from Satish's village in a car.

Dharmender died at the spot, while Hari Om got bullet injuries and the builder had a narrow escape, the SSP said.

The matter was reported to Kavinagar police station where a case was lodged.
