Actress Asin had to be rushed to a hospital following a gas leak on the sets of her Tamil film Kaavalkaran in Karaikudi.

Actress Asin had to be rushed to a hospital on Wednesday, following a gas leak on the sets of her Tamil film Kaavalkaran in Karaikudi. Sources from the sets say that Asin was in her make-up van readying for the shoot when a weird smell wafted around and made her suddenly uneasy.

Within five minutes her make-up man fainted and seconds later, Asin also started feeling breathless. She had to be rushed to a hospital that was 20 kms from the location. Says the spokesperson of the actress, “There was a gas leak and Asin had to be hospitalised. But she’s fine and so is the rest of the crew. She has been discharged and has already resumed shooting.”
