Asin’s fantastic episode

Now Rajni wants me to hear a goody-goody item on Asin. Go on, I say and she tells me that the actress made the day for a terminally ill girl recently. Seems a saheli had told Asin about this little female fan who’s suffering from cancer and according to the doctors, won’t be around till the end of this year. Obviously, the London Dreams actress was shocked and upset to hear this, but regained her composure soon. She promised her friend that she’d meet this girl when she is in Chennai next.

So when Asin went down south to shoot a film, she asked her pal to call her fan on the sets. Naturally, the girl was thrilled to see Asin, who took great care of her and ensured that she was taken care of when she went for her shots. That’s not all. The actress also gave some gifts and chocolates, which she had bought for the girl. Seeing the girl happy, her parents were moved to tears, which in turn, touched Asin deeply, recalls Rajni. Later, when pack-up was announced, Asin bid farewell to the girl and her parents, promising to meet her again soon. So very touching, I tell you.
