Auctions for mining contracts from Dec 23

The Haryana government has decided to hold auction to grant mining contracts of minerals in various parts of the state from December 23 onwards.

The Haryana government has decided to hold auction to grant mining contracts of minerals in various parts of the state from December 23 onwards.

In a release issued on Monday, a spokesman of mines and geology department said that auction for three mining units of Panchkula would be held in the office of mining officer, Panchkula, on December 23, 2013. On the same day, auction for three mining units in Ambala district and one in Kurukshetra would also be held in the same office.

The spokesman said that auction for six mining units in Yamunanagar district would be held in the office of assistant mining engineer, Yamunanagar, on December 24, whereas, auction for four mining units in Karnal would be held in the office of assistant mining engineer, Panipat, on December 26, 2013.

He said that auction for three mining units in Panipat district would also be held in the same office at Panipat same day, besides, auction for three mining units in Sonepat.

Similarly, auction for two units (sand) in Faridabad district would be held in the office of mining officer, Faridabad, on December 27, besides auction of two units (sand) in Palwal district.
Auction for three mining units (sand) in Mahendergarh district would be held in the office of mining officer, Narnaul, on December 28, he added.

The copies of auction notices, containing the detailed terms and conditions of auctions could be downloaded from the website www.haryana.gov.in or could also be obtained from the offices of concerned assistant mining engineer or mining officers or from the office of director, mines and geology, Haryana, Chandigarh, on any working day, he added.
