Centrebet said it favours the world all-stars, captained by South African Shaun Pollock, to win the first one-dayer on Wednesday at just under even money.
It also has the world team favourites to take the three-game one-day Super Series at 5-4 ON and the six-day Test match at even money.
"It's a case of once bitten, twice shy for the Aussie punters who threw away heaps of money backing their team throughout the Ashes series in England," Centrebet's Gerard Daffy said on Tuesday.
Australia lost the Ashes to England 2-1 last month.
Other Australian betting agencies also agree that the World XI are favourites.
