Babloo to move HC against life term

The don was produced today in the TADA court of SK Jain at Kanpur City, along with his aides Manjeet Singh alias Mange Sardar and Kamal Kumar Saini in the LD Arora murder case.
They were brought from Bareilly jail to attend the trial.
Babloo expressed faith in the judicial system but expressed concern over the recent decision made by the trial court in the murder of a Delhi-based trader Lalit Suneja, in which he has been awarded life imprisonment.
He said he would move the High Court against the life imprisonment.
He said it was puzzling how the lower court awarded him life term in the Suneja murder case when all witnesses had gone hostile.
Meanwhile, CBI advocate YK Saxena made a plea to the court to consider the confession made by Babloo before the police.
He said it was a fact that these confessions had not been included in the charges framed under the TADA, but in totality their relevance in the case could not be ruled out. The argument of the prosecution would continue on July 15.
