The company expects to close the year with 2.2 million vehicle sales as against 1.6 million in 2004-05, the company said in a release.
The sales of the two and three wheeler vehicles this year has grown 24 per cent year-on-year led by motorcycles compared to industry growth of 18.5 per cent, Bajaj Auto said.
Bajaj said it would introduce a new bike in the 'value segment' followed by launch of four new products both in the un-geared scooters and motorcycle category in 2006-07.
"With new products with innovative technology as the backbone and the new four-pronged retail network, we hope to maintain the same pace of growth in 2006-07," Bajaj VP (Sales and Marketing) S Sridhar said.
