Ban on sale of construction material near IAF depot

Section 144 of the CrPC has also been invoked in the said zone and the concerned SHOs have been given the authority to arrest the defaulter.
"This law would help the police arrest defaulters and act as deterrent for people who tend to do new construction in the restricted zone. The Supreme Court has directed authorities to maintain a status quo on construction here," said Meena.
In a meeting with officials from the office of the district town planner (enforcement), the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) and the city police, Meena instructed the enforcement wing to take strict action against people who help supply electricity and water to construction sites.
