BDO arrested for accepting bribe
A Block Development Officer (BDO) was today arrested by a vigilance department team for allegedly accepting a bribe from a contractor in Ballia.

A Block Development Officer (BDO) was on Friday arrested by a vigilance department team for allegedly accepting a bribe from a contractor in Ballia.
On a complaint of contractor Santosh, the vigilance team raided the house of B N Misra, BDO of Belhari Kshetra panchayat, and arrested him for accepting the bribe of Rs 15,000, officials said.
District Magistrate Sainthal Pandiyan said that the arrested BDO would be suspended soon.
