Caron Taylor, 40, and her husband Justin, 36, were hoping a great romantic night but the crashing of the antique bed crushed their passionate dreams.

"It was hardly romantic. As soon as we got into the bed, we knew something wasn't right," The Mirror quoted the bride, as saying.

The hotel that has been involved in shattering their honeymoon night has paid a compensation of almost 2000 pounds to the couple.

The newly wed couple has also complained that their reception at Rookery Manor, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, was extremely horrible.
