According to information, two French tourists, 39-year-old Vor Rego Mary and 53-year-old Vor Elizabeth, were attacked by a swarm of bees on Monday near the monuments in Sarnath while they were resting under the shade of a tree.

Scared with this sudden attack, the French tourists started screaming and ran to save themselves.

Hearing their screams, jawans of the Tourist Policecame to their aid and took them away to a safer place for treatment. This was for the second time that such an incident took place in Sarnath areas.

It may be mentioned that the First Lady of France Bernadette Chirac was also on a visit to Sarnath on Monday.
