Addressing a press conference, Bhujbal while claiming that he (Bhujbal) was clean in the whole matter said both Rane and Munde have "much to hide in this matter".

He said the fact that police have not touched him (Bhujbal) is indication of the fact that he was innocent.

Replying to a question, he expressed optimism that Congress and the NCP alliance will be able to bag nearly 35 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
