Bihar: 3 students drown in Burhi Gandak river in Khagaria

The deceased have been identified as Adarsh Kumar, Saurabh Kumar and Aman Kumar, the town police station house officer M K Khan said. They were residents of residents of Mahinath Nagar village and studied at DAV School in Rajendra Nagar of the town.
Three school students drowned in Burhi Gandak river in Bihar’s Khagaria district on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Adarsh Kumar, Saurabh Kumar and Aman Kumar, the town police station house officer M K Khan said. They were residents of residents of Mahinath Nagar village and studied at DAV School in Rajendra Nagar of the town.

Khan said the students had gone to bathe in the river near Aghauri Asthan after immersing the idol of Goddess Sarswati. The students went into deep waters and met their watery grave.
Bodies of all the three students had been fished out and sent for post-mortem at Sadar hospital.
