Bihar website controversy: BJP says truth about Congress coming out
After the Bihar government website said Indira Gandhi’s rule was worse than that of the British, BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma also raked up the articles from Congress Darshan which had belittled the party chief Sonia Gandhi and VP Rahul Gandhi.
BJP gloated over the unease in Congress on Monday after the Bihar government websitesaid Indira Gandhi’s rule was worse than that of the British.
BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma also raked up the articles, which had slammed Jawaharlal Nehru and Sonia Gandhi, published in a Congress journal in Mumbai two weeks ago and claimed that “truth” about the Opposition party and its leaders were coming out from various platforms linked to it.
“Earlier it was ‘Congress Darshan’ and now we have the Bihar government’s website, truth is coming out. Whatever Congress may say but these are facts coming out before people,” he said.

The mention about “autocratic rule” of Indira Gandhi and “oppression” perpetrated during the Emergency has been made in the write-up on Bihar’s history on the website.
