Bitta criticises Brinda for 'defaming' Ramdev

He alleged that some multinational companies and the Pakistan agency ISI had been conspiring against Ramdev.

All India Anti Terrorist Front President MS Bitta on Tuesday criticised the CPM MP, Brinda Karat for "defaming" yoga guru Ramdev.

He urged the Union Government to provide Z plus security to Ramdev.

He alleged that some multinational companies and the Pakistan agency ISI had been conspiring against Ramdev.

He told reporters in Ambala that the government should order a CBI probe into this matter so that the persons behind this conspiracy could be identified.

Referring to alleged eviction of some Sikh families in Kashipur of Uttranchal, he said the he would met the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Uttaranchal in this regard.

He alleged that the Sikhs and Punjabis were being "humiliated there".

Replying to a question, he said that after the abolition of POTA these was no stern law to deal with terrorists in the country. He said that it was one of the reasons that terrorism was again holding its grip in various states including J&K.
