With reference to the report Pakistan in peril (July 5), Pakistan seems adept at creating problems for itself. The Lal Masjid dispute reminds one of the proverb ‘as you sow, so shall you reap’. Pakistan has never been sincere in fighting terrorism. When there was pressure, it shifted the Taliban from Afghanistan
to Pakistan. The results of such actions have come to haunt Pakistan today.
