BJP demands immediate convening of Parliament

The BJP on Friday demanded immediate convening of Parliament to discuss the issue of office of profit in detail.

Charging Congress President Sonia Gandhi with making a "virtue out of compulsion", the main Opposition BJP on Friday demanded immediate convening of Parliament to discuss the issue of office of profit in detail.

BJP President Ranjath Singh also declared after a meeting of party office bearers that if any BJP MPs or MLAs are holding office of profit, they would face the Election Commission inquiry or Parliament "if necessary".
