While the party has given tickets to all its ministers, it has dropped 16 sitting MLAs. Though 18 MLAs were dropped in the first list of 78 candidates, two were later accommodated in the second list that was declared on Friday.
BJP state president Vishnudeo Sai said the party has given tickets to 32 tribal candidates as against the 29 ST reserved seats in the state.
Similarly, the party has given tickets to 11 candidates Scheduled Casts as against 10 SC reserved constituencies. The party is also fielding 10 women candidates, Sai added.
