BJP gears up for samman samaroh on Sept 25

The district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has geared up for the state-level "samman samaroh" that is being organised at Baroha village here on September 25. The party would be honouring the activists of the booths that casted more than 80% votes to the party during the last Lok Sabha elections, party district president Vijay Agnihotri said on Monday.

The district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has geared up for the state-level "samman samaroh" that is being organised at Baroha village here on September 25. The party would be honouring the activists of the booths that casted more than 80% votes to the party during the last Lok Sabha elections, party district president Vijay Agnihotri said on Monday.

He added that the activists of as many as 71 booths would be honoured on the occasion. Agnihotri said hundreds of senior party functionaries and leaders would be present in the function to make it a grand success and prepare it for the next panchayati raj elections.

He said the name of the chief guest was yet to be decided as the national-level leaders were busy in finalising tickets for various states, where Vidhan Sabha elections would be held next month.

The party had earlier invited Amit Shah, the national party president, and home minister Rajnath Singh to preside over the function.
