BJP has lost hopes on Kalyan LS constituency?

Brisk political activities are the order of the day in Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency. All those who were aspirants for the Kalyan seat are running helter skelter to find alternative accommodation in the district.

Now it is crystal clear that the BJP has lost the newly carved out Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency to Shiv Sena.

As the count down begun the picture is gradually getting clear in each of the four Lok Sabha segments in the district which also has as many as 24 assembly segments.

It is clear that the sitting MP Anand Paranjpe will be fielded from Thane by the Sena to be contested by the NCP's Sanjeev Naik, who also fought last time and lost.

In the Kalyan constituency the fireband leader of the NCP and Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council Vasant Davkhare, has already made spade work and is most likely to be fielded by NCP.

Still it is not not clear as to who will be pitted against Davkhare from Kalyan, as the Sena has a soft corner for him for reasons known to both the Sena and NCP.
