Jugal Kishore Sharma, state BJP president, said it would be for the first time in the history of Jammu that a mega rally is going to be organised and hence a number of departments entrusted with separate responsibilities need to be constituted.

In this regard, management for stage, public sitting, transport, parking, publicity, media, first aid, ambulance, drinking water, barricading and so on, there are 32 such identified departments, he said, adding that each department has been kept under a senior and experienced leader of the party.

Every such leader has been asked to frame a committee as per the requirement and services of party activists can be availed for the purpose. He said the control room will function round-the-clock till December 1 and any suggestion, query or information can be sought from rally in-charge Pawan Khajuria and his colleagues.

Besides the president, leader of legislative party Ashok Khajuria, national executive member Shamsher Singh Manhas and rally in-charge Pawan Khajuria were also present on the occasion.
