BJP to hold presidential elections on November 26

The BJP will hold its presidential election on November 26.The election appears a mere formality.

Press Trust of IndiaThe BJP will hold its presidential election on November 26, a party official announced on Thursday.
Nominations for the top party post can be filed until 2 pm on that day which will be scrutinised untill 2:30 pm the same day.
The election will be conducted by 4 pm, the official said.
Nomination can be sent to the party's all India Returning Officer OP Kohli.
The election appears a mere formality as Party Chief Raj Nath Singh, who is strongly backed by Sangh and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, is certain to be re-elected for a full three year term to the post.
