A meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party chaired by leader of Opposition LK Advani decided to put the Government on the mat on corruption issues including the defreezing of the two British accounts of Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi, the Volcker report and the Scorpene submarine deal, party spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra said.

With regard to minorities, the party would vehemently oppose the recent roundtable conference on Jammu and Kashmir where Prime Minister Manmohan Singh agreed to discuss self rule and autonomy and the proposed amendments to the Foreigners Act in the wake of Supreme Court striking down the IMDT Act, besides the reservations for Muslims in Andhra Pradesh and Aligarh Muslim University, he said.

The party would also vociferously raise in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha the recent Supreme Court verdict terming as unconstitutional the dissolution of Bihar Assembly last year.

In his address Advani said the Congress-led coalition has been committing mistake after mistake causing irreparable damage to the national interest.
