BJP workers burn report copies; protest MLC's suspension

Several BJP leaders and workers on Wednesday staged demonstrations against the Maharashtra Government for not tabling the Ram Pradhan panel report on 26/11 attacks and suspension of party MLC Vinod Tawade from the House.

Several BJP leaders and workers on Wednesday staged demonstrations against the Maharashtra Government for not tabling the Ram Pradhan panel report on 26/11 attacks and suspension of party MLC Vinod Tawade from the House.

Tawade, state BJP general secretary, was expelled from the Council on Tuesday for three years for unruly behaviour after he and other opposition leaders vehemently protested the government's decision not to table Ram Pradhan committee's report on the terror attacks in the Legislature.

BJP workers on Wednesday burnt copies of the action to be taken report tabled in Legislature on Tuesday, at Kalyan, Thane, Dombivali, and a few other places.
