The human chain was formed in the morning at 10.30 am from Bada Chaurah and ended at Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) office, Naveen Market.

A large number of BJYM activists gathered at Bada Chauraha to take part in the programme. Activists shouted anti-Congress slogans like ‘Jab-Jab Congress aati hai Mahngai bad jati hai’. While addressing the gathering BJP district president Rakesh Sonker said youngsters should work against the anti-human activities of the Union Government.

Speaking on the occasion, district Yuva Morcha president Shrikrishna Dixit said there is no proper regulation of the 100 days employment of Gramin Rojgar Guarantee scheme.

Dixit also demanded a white paper be issued in the matter.

At the culmination of the programme MLA Satish Mahana said the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister were only worried about the Sensex and the rapid price rise did not bother them.
