The BJYM has decided to organise such protests throughout the week to build public opinion against the proposed rally of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. The agitated activists also held the Congress-led Union Government responsible for the price rise.
BJYM district president Srikrishna Dixit said: “Whenever the Congress comes to power, the people, particularly the underprivileged, bear the brunt of price rise.”
“We will expose the Congress before the masses by making them aware of its anti-people policies before the much-hyped public rally of the party,” stated Dixit
The BJYM leaders also ridiculed the Congress for increasing the price of petroleum products. They also criticised the party for its appeasement policy and held it responsible for the terrorist activities in the country.
The BJYM launched a campaign to apprise people about the policies of Congress, which proved detrimental for the development of the nation, asserted Dixit.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Anand Dwivedi, Shambhunath Mishra, Genash Gupta and Ankit Sonkar.
