BKU disrupts rail traffic

BHARATIYA KISAN Union activists blocked railway traffic at Brijmanganj station in Maharajganj district in protest against arrest of their colleagues for ticketless travel. The agitated activists also locked railway employees at the station for two hours.

The GRP circle officer and other officials rushed to the spot and persuaded the activists to lift the blockade. They promised to release all activists, but failed to fulfil the promise. The next day, activists disrupted rail traffic once again.
