LG’s new range of Jazz television, the LG 42LE4600 sports a resolution of 1920x1080p (full HD) and is 42 inches in screen size. The Jazz has a dated design. The base is bulky and obtrusive but this can be forgiven as it houses a woofer speaker that promises plenty of bite.

Plenty of inputs Connectivity options are hardly scarce. The left panel has HDMI and USB with a lot more connectors at the rear. Rest assured, you won’t find anything lacking in this department.

Some distractions

Video quality is not dramatic. For starters, the screen has ‘backlight bleeding’. This consists of hazy whitish areas at the four corners of the display. We suggest you stick to one of the ISF calibrated picture modes or colour-calibrate the TV yourself.
