Body of a female lion cub has been found from a farm in Khamba taluk in Amreli on Saturday, district forest officials said.

Body of a female lion cub has been found from a farm in Khamba taluk in Amreli on Saturday, district forest officials said.
The body of the cub which is 6-7 months old was found from inside a farm of Pipalva village of Khamba taluk today evening, they said.
According to a forest official, the body has been sent to the Forest Department's veterinary hospital where its postmortem was on.
The village where the body was found is on the border of the Gir Wildlife Scantury (eastern region). The cause of death of the cub could only be determined after the postmortem, Forest Department officials said.
