The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed an application seeking stay against a Delhi High Court order discharging Europe-based three Hinduja brothers in the Rs 64 crore Bofors pay-off case.

A Bench headed by Justice HK Sema dismissed the petition terming it as misconceived.

Petitioners - Raj Kumar Pandey and Ajay Agarwal - wanted the court to stay the High Court order and order resumption of trial of the Hinduja brothers - Srichand, Gopichand and Prakashchand - in the case.

However, the main Special Leave Petition challenging the May 31, 2005 order of the Delhi High Court is still pending in the apex court.
