In an inebriated state, the producer Ashok Khullar, held the model Survi Chaterjee in public and misbehaved with her during the release of an album last night in a restaurant at Amboli police station senior police inspector K Ghamande told PTI.
The incident happened when the model was dancing during the release of the album Surbi-e- Sharabi. Khullar caught hold of the victim from behind and fell over her, police said.
After Chaterjee was rescued by several film and television personalities, she came to police station and lodged a complaint, they added.
An NC under IPC Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intend to provoke breach of the peace) has been lodged against Khullar, who was later warned and let off, police said.
