Bomb hoax reported at Nagpur school

No explosives were found when the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad searched the premises.

A high school in Nagpur was on Tuesday evacuated and searched following a warning of a bomb in the premises, which later turned out to be hoax, police said.

The Saint Frances Desales High School received the call in the morning about a bomb being planted in the building, following which the students were evacuated and premises scoured by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, they said, adding that no explosives were found.

The school authorities later declared a holiday.
