An anonymous caller contacted the Wipro office at about 11.00 am warning that a bomb had been planted in the complex located in Sector V of Salt Lake here.

As panic gripped the office, a bomb squad of the police department was rushed in with sniffer dogs.

The building was vacated to facilitate thorough search by the squad, they said, however, nothing was found.

According to police, the call was suspected to have been made from within the complex as there was no record of any caller in the system.
