Body of a 11-year-old boy was found in a primary school at Phoolpur area in Varanasi on Saturday night.

Body of a 11-year-old boy was found in a primary school at Phoolpur area in Varanasi on Saturday night. A barat was staying in the school. The deceased has been identified as Guddu.

According to information, there was a marriage function in Ghurhupur village under the Phoolpur police station. After the marriage, when baratis came back to school and started lifting the beds, the body of the boy, belonging to the same village, was found buried under them.

Agitated over the mysterious death of the boy, villagers blamed the baratis for his murder and held them hostage for some time. Later, police took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. Police have interrogated the baratis.
