BSP MP's wife threatened to kill domestic help twice

The Delhi Police have ascertained that Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh's wife, Dr Jagriti Singh, had threatened to kill her domestic help Rakhi Bhadra on two occasions in the days preceding the maid's death.

According to a statement by the couple's 17-year-old male help, the first threat was made in a telephone call to Dhananjay on November 1.

The second was delivered to Bhadra's face on November 3 after the maid failed to clean a store room in the couple's South Avenue flat as per a two-hour deadline set by the dental surgeon. The maid died of her injuries on November 4.
