"The UPA Budget is utterly disappointing and it does not reflect its poll promises and the build-up they have given to it as a pro-farmer and pro-poor did not prove to have any relevance," Naidu told reporters in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Though major things included in the Budget were take from the NDA policies with minor shifts here and there, Naidu said, agriculture was not given the due priority.

"The euphoria of presenting a dream Budget and a pro-farmer package has yielded nothing as people were asking for income insurance, while what the farmers got was loan insurance, which will not help the agricultural sector," the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said.

There is also no mention of how the revenue deficit will be met and the special package for Bihar only shows that the UPA was concentrating on states where elections are due, Naidu said adding that TDP has brought many special packages for the state while NDA was in power.
