Burglars break into NCR office

BURGLARS BROKE into the accounts office of the North Central Railway (NCR) under the Civil Lines police station area and scattered the records, besides breaking locks of drawers in the hope of finding cash, late Friday night.

The incident came into light when the RPF personnel discovered the damage done to the office on Saturday morning.

RPF officials claimed that miscreants failed to find any money in the office and important documents and records were safe.

Sources of the department informed, if important records, documents and cheques were taken away by the miscreants, it would have resulted in great loss to the railway employees. The RPF has lodged an FIR at the Civil Lines police station.
