Karnataka police has handed over Nazar alias Kummaayam Nazar, eighth accused in the 2005 bus burning case, to Kerala police.

Nazar was brought to Kochi last night, police said.

The case against Nazar, hailing from Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district, was that he along with two others had followed on motorcycles six others who had hijacked the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation bus and set it ablaze at nearby Kalamassery.
