The deceased was identified as Vishwajeet, a resident of Rajeev Nagar. He was a native of Odisha, the police said.

One of the neighbours called the police around 2pm.

“We received a call from neighbours about the incident. Vishwajeet was reportedly under depression. We have sent the body for postmortem. No suicide note was found from the spot,” said a senior police officer. Prima facie, it appeared to be a case of suicide, said the official. Investigation is on in the case. “We have informed his family and postmortem will be conducted on Saturday,” he added.
