In his report Blurred pictures, dodgy ethics (June 21), Sorab Ghaswalla says sting operations are an unethical means to get to the bottom of a scam. However, if politicians and corporators can use unfair ways to earn money for their own benefit, why can’t the media resort to such means to expose them? What’s the guarantee that the painstaking research done by a reporter won’t be questioned by our netas?
