Canara Bank revises deposit rates upwards

Canara Bank has increased its domestic term deposit rates upwards by 0.5 to one per cent.

Canara Bank has increased its domestic term deposit rates upwards by 0.5 to one per cent, with effect from Thursday.

The new rates announced by the bank in a release were:

For deposits from seven days to 14 days - four per cent (earlier-3.5 per cent), for 15 to 45 days - 4.5 per cent (4.25), for 46 days to 90 days - five per cent (five), for 91 days to 179 days - 5.5 per cent (five), for 180 days to less than a year - 5.5 per cent (5.5), for one year to less than two years - six (5.75), for two years to less than three years - 6.25 per cent (six), for three years to less than five years - 6.5 per cent (six) and for five years and above 6.
