Mozart had discovered his talent at the age of six. And like him, tiny-tots, who participated in the 34th Manav Sthali Open Table Tennis Tournament, at the Talkatora Stadium tried to discover their talent.

Smartly dressed, some in school uniforms, others in casual wear, these children not just displayed their skill but also they will to win. According to Mamta Bhatnagar, the founder of Manav Sthali,

“From a humble beginning 33 years back, it has now become a regular feature. We have schools from Delhi and the NCR participating in the event.” Not surprisingly, the highlight of the tournament is the record number of entries received.

There are about 2,000 entries which better a Limca book record of 1,800 entries. A new category, the Dhruv, of children below three years, was a special feature on the first day.

For them, there were specially designed tables according to their height. The other categories were Dhruv, Eklavya, Abhimanyu, Luv Kush and Arjun Girls. The tournament ends on August 26.
