CBI seizes documents from Tripura ICAR centre

CBI officials on Wednesday raided the Tripura centre of the Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR) near Agartala.
The investigating agency seized documents in connection with alleged embezzlement of funds over the past three years, official sources said.
The CBI sleuths led by a DIG seized hundreds of files and documents from the ICAR centre on Monday, the sources said.
They seized large numbers of papers related to construction of green house and boundary wall of the complex, suspecting siphoning off central government's fund in different schemes, the sources said.
