Central University V-C calls on governor

Jammu Central University vice-chancellor Sudhir S Bloeria called on governor NN Vohra, who is the chancellor of the university, at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar.

He briefed the chancellor about the infrastructure development of the campus at Bagla village, Raya Suchani and about the status of the ongoing teaching and research programmes in the university.

The governor was also briefed about the progress in the recruitment of faculty and non-teaching staff, intake of students, and about several administrative issues related to the university.

Vohra emphasised for ensuring the establishment of essential facilities in the university within the planned time frames, and sustained endeavour to achieve high standards in teaching, research and extra-curricular activities.
